The gap is 6.0 visibility points and 5.2 share of voice points. NovoPath is comfortably ahead of the rest of the field (Clinisys 15.9%, Sunquest 14.4%, Cerner 12.2%), so this is a two-horse race at the top.
| Brand | Visibility | Share of voice | Sentiment | Avg position |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LigoLab | 26.3% | 22.8% | 64 | 2.7 |
| NovoPath | 20.3% | 17.6% | 61 | 3.1 |
| Clinisys | 15.9% | 13.1% | 59 | 3.2 |
| Sunquest | 14.4% | 9.0% | 59 | 3.3 |
| Cerner | 12.2% | 9.1% | 56 | 3.5 |
| Orchard | 11.7% | 9.2% | 59 | 4.5 |
| CGM | 11.0% | 6.5% | 61 | 4.7 |
| LabWare | 9.2% | 5.9% | 63 | 3.8 |
| Engine | NovoPath vis / SoV / pos | LigoLab vis / SoV / pos | Visibility gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google AI Overview | 35.4% / 29.6% / 2.2 | 42.5% / 35.9% / 2.0 | −7.1 pts |
| ChatGPT | 20.9% / 13.5% / 4.4 | 24.7% / 16.7% / 3.8 | −3.8 pts |
| Perplexity | 5.7% / 7.3% / 3.5 | 12.7% / 16.0% / 2.8 | −7.0 pts |
Perplexity is the priority. LigoLab has 2.2x NovoPath's visibility there, the worst relative gap of any engine. Perplexity is the most citation-driven engine, which points at third-party sources (review sites, Reddit) rather than owned content. ChatGPT is a position problem: when NovoPath does appear, it averages slot 4.4, the weakest position of any engine pairing.
Both brands are tracked across 116 prompts and each is absent from roughly 50, so the deficit is depth, not footprint. Grouped by theme, the gaps concentrate in one area: reference-lab operations. Bars show average visibility over the 30-day window. Specific prompt wording is held in Peec and available on request.

The flagged prompt is an accessioning-efficiency question in the lab-operations cluster. It runs daily on Google AI Overview (26 chats this window). I pulled the chats. Every response mentions only NovoPath (100% share of voice, position 1) and cites NovoPath's own blog as the #1 source.
Why the score reads 28: sentiment is scored from the language surrounding the brand mention, and this answer is saturated with negative topic vocabulary (lost revenue, burnout, errors, risk) because that is what the question is about. Nothing negative is said about NovoPath itself. The practical takeaway is the opposite of a problem: NovoPath's own blog post fully owns this AI Overview answer. This is the exact pattern to replicate on the gap prompts in section 04.
